Georgia Smith

The daughter of the late Davey Boy Smith (aka The British Bulldog) Diana Hart, and the sister of Harry Smith (Davey Boy Smith, Jr.), Georgia was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada on September 26, 1987. Georgia’s maternal grandparents are Stu and Helen Hart, known for  Stampede Wrestling. Georgia’s paternal grandparents are Sid and Joyce Smith of Golborne, England.

 

As a child, Georgia lived in both Calgary and Florida, also spending summers in Golborne, England, the birth town of her father. Georgia moved from Calgary with her family to Land O Lakes, Florida in early 1991. She attended public school as well as enrolled in Elsa Pardo Dance Studio with her brother Harry and cousins Jenni, Nattie and Muffy Neidhart to study dance and ballet. 

In July of 1996, the family returned to Calgary when Matt Annis, Georgia and Harry’s cousin, died suddenly from the flesh-eating disease. 

In Calgary, Georgia was a synchronized swimmer with the Calgary Aquabelles swim team. As a teenager, she enrolled in acting and modelling classes at Patti Falconer Academy, and The Company of Rogues, gaining  experience working on set for TV and movies being filmed throughout Alberta. 

When Georgia was 14, her father Davey Boy Smith passed away on May 18, 2002.  In the years that followed, she and her brother Harry remained involved with family in Calgary, particularly the wrestling scene. They both returned to Tampa, Florida, to live in the summer of 2008.

Georgia graduated from the Connecticut School of Broadcasting (Tampa, FL) and worked with NBC, FOX, and  Daytime Television, as an intern. In 2013, Georgia moved to England and worked with Challenge TV for WrestleTalkTV and as a voiceover artist under the direction of Marc Silk. Georgia returned to Tampa in 2018 to be closer to her family, She is currently employed by iHeartMedia.

Georgia is the CEO of the British Bulldog companies and continues to keep her dad's legacy alive. Georgia also makes personal appearances at events, speaking on behalf of her dad, and accepting awards bestowed on her late father.
